I just found out that I am taking 4 medications that have a side effect of hair loss. My whole life I had thick luxurious hair, but after taking these 5 prescriptions: 1. Levoxyl (Synthroid) 2. Atenolol (high blood pressure) 3. Lisinipril (high blood pressure) 4. Premarin (post menopause) 5. Bupropion (depression) I am so close to being bald it makes me cry. I keep doing internet searches to find medications that DON'T cause hair loss, but have found nothing yet. If anyone else should come across a list of medications that can be used instead of the 5 I mentioned above, I would greatly appreciate receiving a list.
