    All due respects to you Alvin , I am not overweight , I walk four miles three days per wek and do resistance training two times per week , one day of pilates , eat loads of vegetables and fresh fruit , six small meals throughout the day , dont smoke , drink a very small glass of wine with my main meal four days per week and sadly my pressure remains in the 155/103 region sometimes even on medication , of which I am currently taking Micardis plus and Norvasc 10mg.

    I think I’m beginning to show signs of high blood pressure. I went in July to a free health review at Wal-Greens and they checked my bp and it was 126/71 last night I had a bite on my leg and while at the dr’s they checked my blood pressure and it was 133/87 so I’m starting to worry. I called my family dr and left a message with the nurse about it so far no call back yet. The person I talked to while leaving the message said that it’s still in normal range. They don’t start to worry until it is 140/90. Any thoughts on what I should do? My mother has high bp and is on meds and has been since she was in her 40′s. I just turned 40 in Feb of this year. Thanks
